Friedberg finalist for Campus Safety Director of the Year

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Jason Friedberg, chief of public safety at Bucknell University, has been named one of Campus Safety magazine's 10 finalists for the title of the nation's Campus Safety Director of the Year.
The finalists represent what the magazine said were those "who are doing the serious and heroic work of protecting our nation's students, patients, faculty and staff." || See finalists
The winner will be announced at the Campus Safety Conference March 30-31 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif.
Friedberg, who joined Bucknell in 2006, holds degrees in criminal justice from Westfield State College and criminal justice administration from Western New England College. He has worked in law enforcement since 1995.
