Recognition at Bucknell

The following awards represent Bucknell’s commitment to recognizing excellence.
The Barry R. Maxwell Award
The Maxwell Award acknowledges, rewards, and celebrates the exceptional collaborative efforts of cross-functional groups, project teams, and task forces that make outstanding contributions to the Bucknell community. The Maxwell Award is named in honor of Barry R. Maxwell, retired Vice President for Administration, who was, and remains, a fervent supporter of collaborative efforts at University
The John F. Zeller Award
Named in honor of John F. Zeller, former Vice President for Business and Fiscal Affairs and General Counsel Emeritus, the Zeller Award recognizes a member of the support staff who demonstrates consistent excellence in the conduct of their responsibilities. Recipients of this award exemplify the outstanding contributions made by many support staff over the course of their careers at Bucknell.
The Walter C. Geiger Award
Named in honor of the late Walter C. Geiger, former Director of the Physical Plant, the Geiger Award recognizes a member of the administrative staff who demonstrates consistent excellence in the conduct of their administrative responsibilities. Recipients of this award exemplify the outstanding contributions made by many administrative staff over the course of their careers at Bucknell.
