LEWISBURG, Pa. —The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Bucknell University will offer the workshop, "Motivating Employees in Challenging Times," Wednesday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to noon in the SBDC Education Center, Room 207 of the Chamberlin Building on Fifth Street in Lewisburg.
Rhonda Campbell, founder and owner of Jarhon Communications, will lead the workshop, discussing techniques that create a motivating environment, what gets in the way of motivation, the truth about what really matters to people, and why rewards aren't the best answer.
Campbell has more than 25 years of communication experience in training, coaching and management. She has worked with individuals in state and local government, manufacturing, health care, banking, insurance and many other industries.
The cost to attend is $35 per person; the fee includes one-year subscriptions to Inc. and Susquehanna Business Life magazines. Registration is required as seating is limited.
