Applying to a Bucknell Approved Program

Students Interested in studying abroad with a third party provider must complete two applications, and be approved to study abroad by Bucknell University and the provider.

Bucknell Application

Complete the Application for Bucknell University Approval for Off-Campus Study (Coming soon for Fall 2012) and submit it to the Office of International Education.

Program Application

Students must also complete a provider application for their individual program. Most program applications are available on the provider's web-site and students may complete the applications online or in paper format.

Online Provider Applications Checklist:

• Complete Online forms
• Forward application confirmation to the Office of International Education
• Submit any supplemental/approval materials to the Office of International Education
• Send your official Bucknell University transcript directly to the provider

Provider Paper Application Checklist:

• Complete paper application and all supplemental materials (home school approval forms, advisor forms, housing forms, etc...)
• Turn completed application in to the Office of International Education
• Send your official Bucknell University transcript directly to the provider
