Teaching Interests
Roman literature and biography; Plutarch; underwater Archaeology
In Philology and History Professor Trego works in Latin and Greek prose narratives, specifically biography, historiography, and the ancient novel -- throughout she focuses on narrative and rhetorical theories.
In Archaeology she works in the Aegean in Nautical Archaeology excavating ancient Greek and Roman shipwrecks. Here Professor Trego concentrates on the utilitarian wares and crew's personal items.
