For the past ten years, I've split my work time between roles as a personal assistant in the entertainment field and as a social worker for teens - a strange combination, but one that I've enjoyed. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that anything I've undertaken so far has been a direct correlation from my IR degree, though my experience at another university made me appreciate my educational experience at Bucknell to an even greater extent. If anything, I felt that the IR degree was a good base from which to spring into many different career paths. It certainly helped in my social work studies, particularly with my studies of refugee populations.
