Scholarly interests: gravitation, general relativity, black holes
Jeff Bowen's area of interest is General Relativity and the study of black holes. He is especially interested in investigating black holes on non-Euclidean topologies. His work explores the theories of gravity and he performs calculations for predicting the radiation patterns expected by the next generation of gravity wave detectors. Jeff has recently developed his interest in quantum field theory which describes the fundamental interactions of nature such as the dynamics of quarks and leptons.
