Pre-Ordering a Laptop

We advise that you wait until May when our current models will be available for pre-order. There are several reasons for this:

• Apple frequently uses the spring/summer for a Back To School promotion, offering free hardware or gift certificates to the Apple store with the purchase of a laptop.
• Warranty coverage for the Macs is limited to 3 years, meaning it would expire half way through the student's junior year
• Warranty coverage for the PCs can be 3 or 4 years, so it would still expire during the student's senior year
