Appalachian Service Trip
The Appalachia Fall Break Service Trip offers Bucknell students an opportunity to study and explore the the complex issue of mountain top removal process, that affects the majority of the Appalachia region. On this trip, students will have the opportunity to speak with coal companies that actively participate in mountain top removal and activist groups that advocate against this process. This immersion trip will travel to Beckley, West Virginia.
