Your Right to Know: Public Safety

All University buildings and residences are private property of Bucknell University and are advertised in publications or posted as such with trespass warnings.

These buildings are opened for business at a designated time each morning and secured at a designated time each evening by assigned university personnel. Persons who trespass on university property are subject to prosecution under state law.

The Department of Public Safety reserves the right to check the identification of any persons on University private property if the need arises to determine whether or not a person is authorized to be on campus, in a non public area on campus, or if a person is suspected of violating a University policy or state law.
