    Art Barn: Studio space for art students

    Art Building: Classroom, studio, critique, dark room, and digital imaging lab space for the department of art and art history.

    Craft Center: Located behind the 7th Street Café, provides studio workspace, facilities and materials for campus and the community.

    Samek Art Gallery: Exhibit space for permanent and visiting collections.

    Samek Art Gallery Permanent Collection: Selections available for online viewing.

    Samek Study Gallery and Permanent Collection Study Room: These study spaces provide access to the Samek Art Gallery Permanent Collection and support Bucknell curriculum and undergraduate research.

    Visual Resource Center (Slide Library): Searchable online, approximately 75,000 art slides of collections in Western Art, Architecture, Asian Art, Pre-Columbian, and Islamic Art.

Creative Writing


    Bucknell Seminar for Younger Poets: Allows ten promising undergraduate poets from across the country, as well as three advanced Bucknell students, to study as fellows in summer program held for four weeks in June.

    Library Special Collections: Selection of rare manuscripts and books, with special strength in Irish literature

    Mildred Martin Library & Lounge: Poetry collection housed in the Stadler Center for Poetry

    Philip Roth Residence in Creative Writing: Provides a young writer of some record of accomplishment opportunity to engage in work over two months coinciding with fall semester. In alternate years residence awarded to writer of fiction and poet. Writer gives public reading of work and is available to students to talk informally.

    Stadler Center Poet-in-Residence: Offers a distinguished poet the opportunity to carry on his or her creative work, teach a poetry writing workshop, and meet with students individually.

    Sandra and Gary Sojka Visiting Poet Series: Brings a renowned poet to campus for a brief residency. The poet visits a class, gives an informal talk on poetics, and does a reading.
