Outdoor Education & Leadership
Bucknell provides a perfect environment for outdoor education.
Bucknell students lead exciting and invigorating academic lives. Bucknell University is centrally located in the heart of Pennsylvania, home to 117 state parks, 2.1 million acres of state forest land, more than 1,500 miles of hiking trails, including a long leg of the Appalachian Trail, more than 1,000 miles of biking trails, rivers, quarries, caves and campsites.
