The Bucknell Prizes were founded by William Bucknell and include:
- A prize for that woman and that man of the graduating class who, being excellent in scholarship during her senior year, show the greatest proficiency in English composition and literature.

The Samuel Lewis Ziegler Prizes were established by the late Samuel Lewis Ziegler, M.D.,LL.D., of the Class of 1880 and include two prizes for English students.
