President Bravman, Mayor Wagner, and Sara Kelley Remarks and Arts Reception

Following a summer and a semester of planning in 2010, representatives of the arts departments and centers on campus coalesced into what has become the Bucknell Arts Council. During the fall semester 2010, the Arts Council designed an arts initiative for advancing, supporting, and enhancing the arts at Bucknell.

In February of 2012, President John Bravman endorsed the proposal. The initiative is now called the Presidential Arts Initiative. President Bravman will make brief remarks about the Arts Initiative, the festival, and the role of the arts at Bucknell. Also making brief remarks will be Lewisburg mayor, Judy Wagner, and the president of the Lewisburg Arts Council, Sara Kelley.
