Meiosis I spermatocytes from the cellar spider Pholcus phalangioides stained with an antibody against acetyl-α tubulin (6-11B-1).  This section from a 3-D reconstruction of the spindle apparatus (responsible for aligning and separating chromosomes during cell division) shows the spindle microtubules stained in red.
