Dr. Linda Locher, Ph.D.
Director of Psychological Services / Psychologist
Linda received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology (1982) and her M.A. in both Counseling Psychology and Counseling & Guidance from The Ohio State University.
Linda works with students to help them identify how that have learned or acquired both problem behaviors and positive behaviors. She works from the student's strengths and then challenges and teaches alternative ways of acting, thinking and feeling that allow the individual to live a more satisfying lifestyle. Linda has been trained in brief or time limited therapy approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Interventions, Psychodynamic theory and Client Centered therapy.

- Depression and anxiety issues
- Perfectionism and self-esteem concerns
- Identity development
- Women's issues
- Learned helplessness and optimism
- Learning strategies and study techniques
