Stadler Center Slams

The Stadler Center has launched a new poetry slam series in conjuction with Uptown, Bucknell's student nightclub. Each evening includes an open mic session, a feature poet show, and a one-round poetry slam. All are invited to read in the open mic, compete in the slam, or just watch the show while enjoying free food and refreshments. For the first two years of the series, slams are hosted by three-time Rustbelt Poetry Slam Champion, Stadler Fellow Jamaal May. Doors open at 7:45 p.m. for sign-up. Open mic begins at 8 p.m.
