Sarah Storck, Karl Cronburg, and Ben Sokolowsky earned first place at the Wilkes University site of the Mid-Atlantic Region ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, Nov. 5th, 2011. This year, Prof. Xiannong Meng advised three teams in the competition, continuing the tradition of Bucknell's participation started by Prof. Lea Wittie several years ago. Read more...
Under the guidance of both the College Engineer, Wade Hutchison, and the Director of the Campus Greening Initiative, Dina El-Mogazi, Chris Main developed a framework for visualizing the data generated by alternative energy sources on campus. The project resulted in a web site that allows users to see graphs made on-the-fly and also to download historical data for processing offline. Read more...
