LEED® Certification

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) green building certification program is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of green buildings.

Taking into consideration sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, and innovation in design, the LEED rating system is designed to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of a building's green features during construction and over its life cycle.

Bucknell's newest fraternity houses have been designed and constructed to meet LEED Silver standards.
