Sediment Control Plan

The sediment control plan reduces negative impacts on water quality and promotes infiltration. The amount of storm-water runoff is minimized to limit disruption to natural water hydrology.
The intent of this control plan is to reduce pollution from construction by minimizing soil erosion, sedimentation in waterways, and airborne dust generation. The plan prevented loss of soil during construction by storm-water runoff. The loss of topsoil would mean that it would be difficult for the site to support plant life and manage storm water. This would result in increased storm water runoff which would carry pollutants and sediments into water ways.
This control plan was conceived during the design phase of the buildings and then implemented durign construction.
