Shade Trees

Shade trees are planted around the site to address the excess absorption of heat, reducing the "heat island effect" of buildings, sidewalks and roads, thus minimizing the impact of development on human and wildlife habitats.

Over 50% of the site hardscape, including roads, sidewalks and parking lots will be covered by shade within five years. The landscaping trees were planted at the time of occupancy.
