Lewisburg Community Garden to hold plant sale

LEWISBURG, Pa. — A plant sale will be held Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lewisburg Community Garden, located at the intersection of St. Anthony Street and Water Street.
Plants for sale will include several varieties of heirloom tomatoes, peppers and herb plants, organically grown in the Bucknell University Greenhouse. Plants are $2 each. All proceeds benefit the Lewisburg Community Garden. || Related Bucknell news story

The plants have been maintained by Bucknell students with assistance from Wanda Boop, greenhouse caretaker, Mark Spiro, associate professor of biology, and Cathy Myers, executive director of the Bucknell University Environmental Center.
