Russian Placement for Students

The Russian Studies Program uses an on-line placement exam. We recommend that all students who have had previous experience with Russian take the exam whether or not you are considering taking Russian in your first semester.

The password for the online exam is: bison1. If you have problems accessing the on-line placement exam, please send an email to the Academic Assistant Pamela Glass(pglass@bucknell.edu), who is overseeing the on-line placement program for the Department of Foreign Language Programs.

PLEASE NOTE that when you begin the placement test, you will be asked for information such as your name and your ID#. Your Bucknell ID # has not yet been generated. You can use your birth date for this field and proceed on to the test.
