First Year Day of Service

The First-Year Day of Service offers a unique experience to contribute to your new community right from the beginning.
On Saturday, September 29th, the first-year class will take over the neighborhoods in and around Lewisburg through a variety of volunteer opportunities including cleaning, organizing, restoring, helping animals, and working with adults or children. There are two opportunities to volunteer, the morning shift begins at 9:00 a.m. and the afternoon shift begins at 1:00 p.m. Projects generally take about 1-2 hours.
This program is sponsored by the Office of Civic Engagement and New Student Orientation. Come learn about the Lewisburg area, engage in your community and meet other first-year students.
