2012-13 Poetry Path Tours

All tours are free and open to the general public.

Saturday, April 20, 2 p.m. at the Stadler Center for Poetry (site 1)

Poetry & Yoga with Shara McCallum and Cheri Orndorf

Stadler Center for Poetry Director Shara McCallum will lead a tour of the Poetry Path featuring yoga with Cheri Orndorf, certified yoga teacher. Orndorf will guide yoga beginners and veterans through basic yoga moves in relation to poems on the Path. The tour will begin at site #1 on the Poetry Path, on Loomis Street in front of the Stadler Center (Bucknell Hall).

Scheduling a Group Tour

To request a group tour, please contact us at stadlercenter@bucknell.edu. In your email, indicate the number in your group and the desired date and time of the tour. In order to accommodate the request, we require at least one week's advance notice.

For planning purposes, please note that the Poetry Path includes a site at Kidsburg Playground, with a poem selected with younger children in mind. Most of the poems on the Poetry Path, however, are geared toward older children, teens, and adults of all ages.

The tour of the Poetry Path takes approximately 1.5 hours. The tour of the Poetry Path and Stadler Center for Poetry, together, takes approximately 2 hours, including time for a Q&A.
