What's Next

In addition the construction of Academic West, Bucknell is planning now for a number of projects that will strengthen close-knit relationship between the academic and residential facets of the University.

Residence Halls

We have worked with an architectural firm to develop the layout and design for new housing for upper-class students to open by fall 2015.

Entrances to Campus

By improving the "front doors" to campus, we can make them safer, easier to navigate and more attractive. Our goals include:

• establishing a better connection between campus and the Susquehanna River

Academic East and Arts Building

Schematic designs have been created for

• Academic East, a second facility to form the new quad behind Bertrand Library with Academic West
• A new Arts building or complex
