Academic Materials and Equipment
Every day, Bucknell students use equipment that exists thanks to the generosity of alumni, parents and friends of the University. This includes the nuts and bolts of college life like books, beakers, and basketballs—as well as unique items like antiquities and specialized tools.
Giving equipment is a very real and tangible way to improve the learning and lives of Bucknell students on a daily basis. It might be the paint that ends up on a canvas in Chelsea, or the ink that prints a brilliant thesis, or the uniform that crosses the finish line first. It might be the sheet music for a concert that moves an audience to tears, or the solder used to attach the last wire to a new robot, or the digital camera that captures undergraduate research in Morocco.
The "little things" often have a way of leading to big things, and it can certainly be gratifying to know that you were able to improve the experiences of so many Bucknellians with a single gesture.
Think small gifts don’t matter?
