We open doors to deserving students.
Ben Sampson ’69, P’96
Some two-dozen Bucknell students have attended Bucknell through the Sampson Family Scholarship Endowment. Now, thanks to an additional $5 million commitment from Ben Sampson ’69, P’96, even more talented young people will benefit from the program, begun more than two decades ago with his late brother, Myles Sampson ’67.
“We chose to fund scholarships because they live on through people,” said Sampson, a regional leader for the campaign. “We felt strongly that this was the best investment we could make in Bucknell.”
Financial aid, the top campaign priority, opens doors to opportunity, changes lives and brings great students to Bucknell who could not afford to attend the University otherwise. The Sampson family’s commitment to access is a model of how scholarship gifts change lives in perpetuity.
