Book Series
This book series, with accompanying digital materials, develops interdisciplinary and multimedia approaches to the concept of region, place, and ethics in environmental studies. While including a range of disciplines - from sciences and social sciences to literature and philosophy - "Stories of the Susquehanna Valley" articulates narratives of an eco-region that played a formative role in the early republic, and which today provides potential models for more environmentally sustainable approaches to human community. || Learn more about the Stories of the Susquehanna Valley Book Series.

Digital Mapping
Check out this Digital Humanities environmental map of the Confluence region which
- provides links to environmental systems of the four-county area
- details the relation of human material cultures and narratives to natural systems
- includes Native American and early American technologies that shaped the watershed
- uses as its base Prof. Katie Faull's study of Moravian diaries from the area and Prof. David Del Testa's work in early mill technology.
