Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue is a New Orleans-based jazz fusion band that intertwines the sounds of New Orleans with jazz, brass band, and funk. For the third year in a row, the musicians were awarded Artist of the Year, Best R&B/Funk Artist, and Best Trombonist in Offbeat Magazine's Best of the Beat Awards.

Joel Selvin of The San Francisco Chronicle has hailed him as "New Orleans' brightest new star in a generation."

Recently, Trombone Shorty and Mike Ballard were featured performers at the 2013 Green Inaugural Ball in honor of President Barack Obama on Jan. 20, the night before the presidential swearing-in ceremony.

Trombone Shorty has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Good Morning America, joined Dave Matthews Band on NFL Kickoff, and has a recurring role on the hit HBO series Tremé. Along with appearing on Beck's Les Paul tribute, he's been a featured guest musician on the latest releases from Eric Clapton, Zac Brown Band, Rod Stewart and Lenny Kravitz.

Tickets for the performance are $20 for adults, $16 for seniors ages 62+, $10 for children under 18, and $10 for all college students. Graduating Bucknell University seniors are eligible to receive one free ticket to the performance.
