Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator
Bucknell University has created a new, full time staff position, an Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator, which is funded by our Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women Campus Grant. This staff position is a joint position within Psychological Services and the Women’s Resource Center in the Division of Student Affairs, with a direct supervisory reporting line to the Assistant Director, Coordinator of Outreach and Consultation Services, in Psychological Services.
This position assumes primary leadership across campus for coordinating and facilitating prevention education programs addressing sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. This includes: providing training, coordination, and supervision of the Speak UP Bucknell peer education program; developing and implementing additional prevention education programming and materials; and partnering with various members of the campus community to provide prevention education and training for students, faculty, and staff.

Padma completed her Master’s degree at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, and most recently served as the interim Sexual Violence Coordinator at Georgia Institute of Technology.
