SBDC workshop: 'Strike up the brand'

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Bucknell University will host the workshop, "Strike Up the Brand," Thursday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Slifer Room of Country Cupboard in Lewisburg.
Dan Droz, a former professor of design management at Carnegie Mellon University, is the founder of the Institute for Marketing Accountability. He has been recognized for design excellence in the United States and abroad, including the Designers Choice Award from I.D. magazine, Best of U.S. from Abitare (Italy) and Daphne Design awards.
Droz will outline the key concepts of branding and how strong brands can get customers to march to a company's beat. Topics include how to position a company as a market leader, reduce marketing costs, increase price and profit, differentiate your company, products and services, and create memorable customer experiences.
The program includes a question-and-answer session to address specific marketing and branding issues.
