Recent Bucknell accounting graduates do well on CPA exam.

The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy annually reports performance by school on the Uniform CPA examination. Scores are reported for candidates taking the exam for the first time within twelve months of graduation and include results on all four parts of the exam.

In 2011, 28 Bucknell graduates took the exam and achieved the best passing percentage (78.1%) among candidates from the 49 colleges and universities in Pennsylvania for whom scores were reported (including candidates with graduate degrees).

In 2012, 38 Bucknellians took the exam and passed at a 71.0% rate. For comparison, national passing rates in 2011 were 56.1% and in 2012, 61.0%.

The accounting faculty would like to congratulate these recent graduates on their accomplishments.
