Ward House

R.I.C.S.

Ward House and guest suites are available to guests of the University who otherwise would be housed at University expense in local hotels or motels, for short term accommodations, generally one-two nights, but for no more than one week.
Ward House and guest suites are generally not available for personal guests of University staff members, or for weddings, funerals or illnesses.
Children are usually prohibited from staying in Ward House.
Pets are prohibited.
Generally, departments may not schedule the entire use of Ward House and guest suites, with the exception of special university weekends, i.e. Trustee Weekend, Parents Weekend, Homecoming, Commencement and Reunion Weekend.
There is no charge for Ward House, unless required by NCAA compliance.
There is a $10/day charge for a visiting student staying in a guest suite for NCAA compliance. If the visiting student stays with a University student, there is no charge.
There is a $25/day charge for any University personnel staying in Bucknell accommodations because of extenuating circumstances.
Scheduling over holidays, weekends, etc. when custodial assistance is required is generally prohibited.
Check-in time is after 2 pm and check-out time is before 11 am.
Ward House, as all other Bucknell buildings, is a no-smoking facility.
Requests for use of guest facilities should be registered with the Office of Reservation, Information and Conference Services.

5^th Trax Rooms

There must be adult supervision, adult must stay with group.
Host department responsible for behavior of guests.
Rooms are single sex.
No alcohol is permitted.
Must observe quiet hours.
Must abide by rules in Student Handbook.
Public Safety has the authority to ask group to leave immediately.
Keys are to be picked up during office hours at Reservation, Information and Conference Services, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Keys are to be returned to the office of Reservation, Information and Conference Services or switchboard upon departure.
The department will be charged a $50/key for any key not returned within 48 hours.

Although pillows are provided, there are no linens provided unless prior arrangements have been made.
Linens may be requested at $7.00 per set.
The host department is responsible for the cost of any damages incurred
