CLIMBucknell Challenge Course

Forrest Brown Conference Center at Cowan

The Tower of SamsonCLIMBucknell Challenge Course at the Cowan Forrest Brown Conference Center features low and high elements, a climbing tower and a zip line. With the primary focus to be used as a classroom without walls, it is designed to teach students, faculty, staff and non-University groups leadership, group dynamics, risk assessment, safety and most importantly, something about themselves. The goal is to enhance life skills through challenging educational activities by problem solving and team development. By using these elements, it is hoped that individuals will leave with creative new ideas about themselves and how a team evolves.

Reservations are strongly recommended to be made a month in advance, in order to arrange for facilitators and to allow time for the forms to be completed by each of the participants. Each participant is required to complete a medical form and a risk form and turn them into the Contact Person (person organizing the event). It is the responsibility of the Contact Person to collect and review all participant forms to ensure that ALL information requested (particularly the medical form) has been completed. Please pay particular attention to the line that requests Medical/Health Insurance Co. and Policy/ID number to make sure it is filled in.

Please submit the completed application form to the Outdoor Education & Leadership office in the CAP Center, 47 Elaine Langone Center.
