Sustainability in Japan: Power, Environment, Culture and Language.
This three-week intensive summer travel course is designed to introduce students to unique attitudes, approaches and solutions Japan has marshaled in regard to sustainability in four areas: nuclear power use, environment, language and culture.

Bucknell is a long-term member of the Associated Kyoto Program, a consortium of 14 liberal arts institutions with historically strong Japanese studies programs.
This yearlong program with Doshisha University in Kyoto focuses on intensive language study and the study of classical and contemporary Japan. Students live with Japanese families in the Kyoto area.Read more about Associated Kyoto Program
