German Club
Mission Statement: The German Club promotes the study of German culture and language at Bucknell, and is run by students, for students. Throughout the year we sponsor films, speakers, discussions, study breaks and trips. In the past, we have visited the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., taken a trip to the Amish country in Lancaster County, and shared our experiences with other students who are interested in traveling abroad. We also have a German-speaking lunch table once a week with the teaching assistant from the University of Heidelberg. We meet about two or three times a semester as a group and discuss a wide variety of topics related to German culture.
At the end of each semester we have a party for all students who are studying German.
