Departmental Telephone Services

Bucknell University owns and operates its own telephone system.

Telephone Guides
Every departmental phone is either a single-line or multi-line phone. For details on using each model of phone please see the appropirate phone guide.

Conference Calls
CTI Conferencing allows you to make a conference call and charges a $5 reservation fee, and 18 cents per minute per line for automated service or 26 cents per operator-assisted service.

Bucknell's Conferencing allows you to make a conference call with up to sixteen people at a time and costs 8 cents per minute, per line.

Calling Cards
Calling Cards are available through CTI at 9 cents per minute. Calling Cards are available upon request and approval, to those employees who travel frequently for the University and need to make business-related phone calls and/or to maintain regular contact with your office.

A Bucknell operator may be able to assist you with special calls. Dial 0 to reach an operator.
