DAAD's newest presence on the Internet comes with the exciting launch of www.study-in.de. This interactive website is targeted primarily at 18- to 25-year-old Bachelor's and Master's students seeking information on studying and living in Germany. Topics addressed include finding a place to live, learning the language and choosing a university. The site also utilizes interactivity and networking, such as videos on student life, a blog by international students in Germany, photo galleries and a DAAD profile on Germany's largest social network, studiVZ. This popular Facebook-like site provides a platform where German and foreign students can "meet," even before the study abroad period has begun.
In conjunction with the launch, study-in.de will be holding a raffle for three iPod Nanos. All entrants need to do is watch the "Student Life" videos and vote for a favorite.
Keep visiting www.study-in.de for forthcoming details on the raffle. And make sure to check out all the great new content while you're at it!
