Bison Laptop program
Bucknell offers the Dell Latitude E6400 that we have configured for use at Bucknell. We offer special pricing, loaner laptops, on-site parts, Dell-certified warranty service, and expedited attention at the Tech Desk for those who partake in the Bison Laptop program.
We also support Apples with loaners, Apple-certified warranty service, and Apple's own educational price discounts and software. Other makes of computers are supported, but not to the same extent.
Back it up, Bucknell!
We highly recommend that students back up their personal data to an external hard drive and use their 600mb of private network space to store vital academic documents.
We strongly encourage everyone to buy an external hard drive and back up their data on a regular basis! If your machine needs reimaging due to software or hardware problems, we will expect that you have backed up your data - (music, documents, photos, etc.) More details on our backup policy
