Andrea Stahl '88

Stahl is the first female commander of the U.S. Army Center for Environmental Health Research. In 2011, she became the first woman to be named deputy commander of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases.

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn '88

In 2007, McGlynn won the American Anime Award for Best Female Voice Actress for her portrayal of Major Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. In 2008, she won a Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation award for Best Director.

Rachel Skovronsky Bandarenko ’88

2003 Alumni Association Award Winner: "Young Alumni Award" 

Bandarenko served as president of the Junior League of Annapolis with responsibility for 340 volunteers and she is a participant in the U S Naval Academy's "home away from home" program.

Charles Cole ’88

Cole led the Bison cross country team to four consecutive East Coast Conference championships as well as a pair of NCAA Championship appearances in 1986 and 1987. Cole was a top-100 finisher (94th and 91st) in his two national meets. Cole was inducted in Bucknell's Hall of Fame in 2010.

Ed Curran ’88

Ed Curran was a three-time East Coast Conference wrestling champion. Hall of Famer Tom Scotton is the only other Bucknell wrestler to make that claim. He qualified for the NCAA Tournament three times and was a quarterfinalist in 1986. Ed was inducted into the Bucknell Hall of Fame in 2005.

James Given ’88

Given, the Bison football team's starting quarterback for three straight years, earned the Lewisburg Touchdown Club Award as the team MVP as a junior and senior. He was a First Team All-Patriot League selection and an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American in 1986. Given was inducted into the Bucknell Hall of Fame in 2007.

James Harvey ’88

Harvey graduated as the owner of eight individual school records. Harvey dominated the East Coast Conference, winning 11 of a possible 12 individual races while swimming as a member of eight winning relay teams. He was named the Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet in each of his four years. He was inducted into the Bucknell Hall of Fame in 1999.

Stacey Spitko Reeder ’88

Spitko Reeder earned Academic All-America honors in basketball and softball at Bucknell. One of the leading women's basketball scorers in Bucknell history, she led the East Coast Conference in assists for three straight years and was a second team Academic All-American in 1987. Stacey was inducted into Bucknell's Hall of Fame in 1995.
