All financial and registrar obligations must be cleared before any transcript request will be honored.

All Transcripts Issued Are Official

  • No unofficial transcripts will be issued.
  • If you are a current student, you may access your unofficial transcript through myBucknell and Banner Web.
  • The University will not, under any circumstances, fax out a transcript.
  • Transcripts can be requested online, in person or by mail. Due to Federal law, requests CANNOT be processed without a legal signature. Therefore, email and telephone requests cannot be honored.
  • Requests are normally processed within two working days of receipt but may take up to five days during peak periods (beginning and end of each semester).

Pricing

  • Transcripts (paper or electronic) - $3.00
  • TranscriptsPlus® service charge - $3.00 per transcript
  • Same day processing - additional $7.00 per transcript. Requests must be received by 2 p.m. to be processed same day. Same day processing does NOT include express mail service.

Requesting a Transcript Online

  • Bucknell uses TranscriptsPlus® to provide 24/7 online ordering.
  • Transcripts are delivered either electronically or by traditional US mail.
  • Credit/debit card payments only.
  • Current students can access TranscriptsPlus® through myBucknell and Banner Web. Once logged in, select "Student Information" then "TranscriptsPlus."
  • Alumni and former students should go to bucknell.edu/TranscriptOrder. Because Federal Law requires your signature to release academic records, you must complete a Consent Form and submit same to Credential Solutions by e-signature, fax, mail or upload. Please note that if your attendance at Bucknell University began prior to January 1, 1994, your transcript is not available as an electronic PDF version. However, all alumni are able to order transcripts online.

Requesting a Transcript by Mail

  • Download the Transcript Request Form, complete all sections and mail to the address shown on the form with payment. Requests will not be processed until payment is received.
  • Use separate forms for each address to which a transcript is being sent.
  • Payment is by cash or check made payable to "Bucknell University". Current students may charge their student account.

If you are unable to download the form, please provide us with:

  • Date of request
  • Name (first, last, middle initial as they appeared when you attended)
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security number
  • Dates of attendance (mm/yy – mm/yy)
  • Current address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Addressee and complete mailing address/email address to which the transcript is to be sent
  • Your legal signature
  • Payment

Requesting a Transcript in Person

  • Request forms are available at the Registrar's Office (102 Marts Hall).
  • The Transcript Request Form can also be downloaded, completed and returned to 102 Marts Hall.
  • Payment is by cash or check made payable to "Bucknell University". Current students may charge their student account.

Electronic Transcript Certificate of Authenticity

Bucknell University has appointed Credentials Inc. as the designated agent for processing and sending official electronic transcripts on behalf of Bucknell University. The PDF transcript that is produced using this service contains the identical information as the printed transcript and can be certified as unaltered by uploading the file to the company's website that is provided during the delivery process. Credentials Inc. has been granted the authority to deliver all such electronic transcript requests on behalf of Bucknell University and respond to any inquiries regarding the transactions.
