"Joining the Environmental Res College provided me with the best transition into freshman year. Going to classes was so much more comfortable when one was in a room of familiar faces talking about environmental problems, and a when a homework question could be answered by your roommate or a peer just across the hall. Apart from the class, being a part of the college opened up fantastic opportunities to go on trips from kayaking, to hiking, to camping, that would not have been possible otherwise. I highly recommend joining Enviro for the best possible first year experience!"

"Residential Colleges go above and beyond the normal college dormitory experiences. Going on hikes and kayaking on weekends made my freshmen year atypical compared to students that didn't participate in Residential Colleges. By living with other freshmen that had similar views on issues like environmentalism, my views were constantly challenged both inside and outside of the classroom. I would not want to relive my freshman year without my residential college experience."
