1 in 7 Americans struggle with hunger daily! Help to fill their empty food bowls.
Enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread served in a hand-crafted ceramic bowl for a donation of $10. Proceeds help support the Community Harvest Meal in Milton, a free hot meal program that serves 80-120 people every Monday evening. Guests get to take home an "empty bowl" of their choice to remind them that there are many individuals in our society struggling with hunger.
- Empty Bowls will take place on Thursday, March 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 7:30 p.m. in Walls Lounge and Center Room (Elaine Langone Center).
- Starting Thursday, Feb. 21, tickets can be purchased online, at any Campus Box Office location, or at the event (cash, check or BU ID).
- Our empty bowls event is a collaboration of the Office of Civic Engagement, the 7th Street Studio, the Women's Resource Center, International Student Services, Parkhurst Dining Services and local restaurants.
