Each year, a select group of our most highly qualified applicants to the incoming class is invited to apply to the Presidential Fellows Program.
If you are chosen to become a Presidential Fellow, you'll receive a $30,000 annual merit scholarship renewable over four years and be matched with a mentor from the faculty or University staff who will include you in a significant, long-term project or experience that can give you an edge after college.
If you are eligible for need-based aid as determined by the Office of Financial Aid, and you receive a Presidential Fellows scholarship, it will be included as part of your aid package.
Eligible Class of 2022 Bucknell applicants will be invited to apply by mid-February via mail and/or email.
As a Presidential Fellow, you'll work closely with a professor or University administrator on a challenging, long-term project that matches your interests. Your commitment will be six to eight hours per week during the academic year. In addition to the scholarship, Presidential Fellows receive an additional allowance of up to $1,800. Fellows are invited to academic and cultural activities on campus and participate in special professional development events.
Projects change year-to-year, but past fellowships include:
Note: Fellows may change their fellowship positions as their interests grow and develop.
