On March 28, 2015, Bucknell students hosted the first TEDxBucknellUniversity, an afternoon gathering to explore thought-provoking, personal and possibly controversial ideas in the hopes of bringing those bold notions to life. Licensed by the Sapling Foundation — creator of the TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design), TEDGlobal and TEDxconference series — and supported by the College of Engineering, the event gave an equal forum to student, faculty and alumni speakers to share what they've learned in a series of brief presentations.
