Leanne Aurich is the Assistant Director of Alumni Career Services. Leanne started in her role at Bucknell’s Career Development Center in July 2013. She most recently worked in GW’s Office of Alumni Relations where she created and advised the student alumni association, and ran the Dinner with Alumni program, connecting over 200 students with 50 alumni each year based on career interests. Leanne also worked in GW’s Center for Student Engagement advising student organizations, and has a background in leadership development, fundraising, event planning, social media marketing, non-profits, and community outreach.
In her current role, Leanne will be career counseling undergraduate students and recent Bucknell graduates in their job search, career planning, resume and cover letter writing, networking, and professional development. She will also be leading the “Life After Bucknell” series, a program to help prepare seniors for their transition to work and graduate school. She will also be managing the Alumni Career Services social media sites, including Twitter and LinkedIn.
Leanne received her Master of Arts in Education and Human Development with a specialization in Higher Education Administration from George Washington University. Leanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate and Community Relations from the University of Pittsburgh.
