The new ScoreSelect option became available in July 2012 for both the GRE revised General Test and GRE Subject Tests. It is an enhancement to create a "more test-taker friendly platform. With the ScoreSelect option, GRE test takers can decide which test scores to send to the institution they designate, so they can send the scores they feel reflect their personal best." This is in direct contrast to past policy which reported cumulatively all scores to designated institutions.
The new ScoreSelect option can be used by anyone with reportable scores from the last five years. For more information, go to www.ets.org/gre.
