When you walk Bucknell's campus, every other student you pass has received a University grant. Many of the best and brightest would not be here otherwise. Scholarships open doors to the most talented students of all backgrounds — and open doors to lives of unlimited possibility.

At Bucknell, the most significant scholarship gifts are named endowed scholarships. The impact they create, one life at a time, will endure as long as the institution stands. Whether you endow a new scholarship or make a gift toward an existing one, your investment will benefit students for years to come.

You can also choose to establish a named annual scholarship by pledging annual gifts of $5,000 or more for a four-year period.

Both endowed and named annual scholarships can be named for the donor, or in memory or honor of a loved one or a favorite professor. All donors of named scholarships are given the name of their recipient as well as the opportunity to meet the student at the University's annual Scholarship Day Celebration.

Of course, your support in any amount will make a difference. We are grateful for all Annual Fund gifts designated toward financial aid.

New scholarship funds raised during Bucknell's last campaign ($76 million) dramatically increased the percentage of scholarship recipients from 35 percent of undergraduates to almost 50 percent.

WE DO, The Campaign for Bucknell University, aims to raise $150 million in endowed scholarships and financial aid for deserving, well-qualified students.
