Resetting Your Bucknell Password

Current students, employees and retirees

Go to Password Reset at

  • If you know your current password, click on Change Password.
  • If you've lost or forgotten your password, click on Reset Password. You can answer your security questions and reset your password.
  • If you've forgotten your security questions and you're not in Lewisburg, you can call the Tech Desk at 570.577.7777 and ask to speak with a staff member.
  • If you're in Lewisburg, you can always come to the Tech Desk with photo ID during normal business hours for assistance.


Your password is set to expire annually. If you know your current password, click on Change Password to update it. If you've forgotten it, you can go to Password Reset at and click on Reset Password. One of your options will be to send an email with reset instructions to your alternative email address on file. To update your alternative email address, please visit

Checking Your Application Status

Prospective Students

After you submit your application for admission to Bucknell, you will receive two emails: the first will acknowledge receipt of your application, and the second will provide you with instructions for logging in to your applicant status page, which includes your application status, checklist and other important notifications.

Resetting Your Banner Password

Faculty and Staff may reset their Banner password using the Banner password link in the lower left corner of myBucknell.
